Katalyst India, an award-winning NGO, stands for the economic empowerment of women. Our four-year program prepares young women in STEM for leadership roles through a blend of unique development interventions. With over a decade of impact made, we aim to empower more women to become leaders of tomorrow! PRIMARY OBJECTIVES To enhance employability of girl students, and to raise their capacity to command a higher annual salary. To empower talented girls to take on roles of leadership and innovation and participate in the process of community building. To increase the management bandwidth of corporate India through the talent pool thus created, giving India Inc. access to an untapped talent base. OUR INTERVENTIONS- Financial scholarships - Internships and placements in prestigious companies - 600 hours of training in technical, leadership, communication, job-readiness skills - Mentorship of professionally experienced individuals - Industry visits to factories and corporate offices - Laptops at a subsidised cost - Medical insurance for the girl and her mother TechFests, Outbounds, corporate workshops, and more. Katalyst launched a new initiative in January 2022, called ‘Alkemist - Beyond Boundaries’, a program curated for women to lead purposeful lives. Specifically designed for women in early careers, The Alkemist Program seeks to build Purpose Driven Leaders and Effective Managers. The uniquely curated program enables our ‘Alkemists’ to become active contributors of value driven growth for their organizations, while enhancing their personal self. Through the medium of Trust Groups, Professional Coaching, contextual Masterclasses and timely Counseling, the program creates a support system that results in enhanced self belief, aspirations, managerial practice and social consciousness.
