KAYP is building a stablecoin-powered trade finance platform designed for SMEs in emerging markets that can’t access traditional instruments like letters of credit or SBLCs. Our goal is to provide a faster, cheaper, and more accessible alternative to classic trade finance. We focus on three core components: 1. On-chain escrow, securing payments between importers and exporters without relying on slow, expensive banking rails. Stablecoin settlement, enabling instant, low-cost cross-border payments. Conditional fund release, triggered only when trade documents are validated and compliant. To support this, we’re actively working on digital Bills of Lading, compliance with eIDAS and global signature frameworks, tokenized trade instruments, and automated escrow logic. We’re collaborating with PSPs and blockchain partners to deploy real-world pilots and refine the product. Our mission is simple: give SMEs a modern, globally accessible way to finance and secure their international transactions, without the friction, fees, and delays of the traditional trade finance system.
