KCap was established in 2017 as a principal investment firm deploying its own capital in partnership with with that of like-minded investors around the world. KCap’s roots can be traced back to the 1970s in commodity trading, mining, and processing. Today, KCap utilizes its deep network of global contacts to identify medium to long-term investment opportunities whereby it can leverage the broader group’s experience and expertise to create value. KCap has a flexible investment mandate allowing it to invest across the capital structure and works closely with its sister commodity trading company, Rescom, to structure investments which include commodity offtakes. KCap has strong regional expertise and experience across Asia (including India and Indonesia) and the Middle East (including UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia) where it has focused on commodity projects (industrial minerals, metals and mining industries), trade finance, and selective infrastructure projects.
