Our claim to fame is that we are leading the world with a carbon friendly ready-meal tray, the riji, which we understand the industry is crying out for. With KCC you can be amongst the first to start replacing cPet and aluminium foil trays with a 100% compost alternative. We also supply a range of very useful food packaging- Disposable cutlery - Tamper-evident clear tubs with moisture-tight closing lids - Clear, lidded plastic boxes - Hot food containers - the Hot Box KCC is keen to support the environment by driving down the carbon footprint of packaging. The products are based on our desire to find sustainable materials, which we can source long term, without using petroleum or other non-sustainable fossil fuels. KCC was one of the first companies to launch Cornstarch material onto the UK retail scene. Our efforts were rewarded when the Cooperative movement chose them for some of their pre-packed salad meals. Since then, other retailers and packers have approached KCC for sustainable solutions to lower their carbon footprint. These products include the Cornstarch Hybrid cutlery which is set to expand with new lines. Other products include trays, bowls, microwaveable packaging, and more.
