KCLCAA (King’s College London Chinese Alumni Association) is a non-profit organization, aiming to unite the community of Chinese alumni from King’s College London. The organization provides a robust and cohesive platform for alumni to socialize with each other. Up till now, it has over 350 members in total and is growing rapidly thanks to its great influence on alumni and existing student. More importantly, over 10 world-renowned figures have joined as honorable alumni such as Mr. Mingwei Liu, Ms. Chenger Deng, Ms. Xi Luo, etc. KCLCAA is subject to Western Returned Scholars Association’s leadership (WRSA is the largest network of overseas students in China) with Mr. Mingwei Liu (Chairman of Chinese Estates Holding Limited, famous businessman and philanthropist) being the honorable chairman and Mr. Kerry Brown (Famous professor and director of China Research Institute at KCL) invited as general counselor. As to the organization structure, the board of executive committees is at the top of it, responsible for the decision-making process via voting scheme, including but not limited to resolutions relating to Director nomination, appointment, removal and remuneration. The board of directors, according to the guidelines of executive committees, are responsible for the management and leadership of the organization. The organization currently consists of seven functional councils (Internal operation, Communication, Media, Planning, Careers, Business and Charity Councils), hosting a variety of world-class events and providing comprehensive services to our great alumni community.
