What We Do: At Keep Talking Services, we pair health and social care students with individuals in the community who are experiencing loneliness. Our student volunteers provide regular social interaction, emotional support, and a compassionate presence through phone calls. This unique approach not only alleviates loneliness for our clients but also equips future healthcare professionals with invaluable experience in mental health care. Our Impact: Since our inception, we have grown significantly, making thousands of befriending calls each year. Our service has proven to be a lifeline for many, offering a safe, supportive space where individuals can express themselves freely. We are proud to have made a positive difference in the lives of over 300 clients with the help of more than 200 dedicated student volunteers.
