My motto is: “The difficult I do right away; the impossible takes a little bit longer.” As the principal of Keith Bales CPA, I have over 17 years’ experience providing my clients business valuation, forensic accounting, litigation support, and management consulting services. In the 25 years before that, I gained valuable executive management, accounting and information systems consulting, and teaching experience. I have qualified as an expert witness and testified in Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Solano, Plumas, and Stanislaus Counties. I hold these California professional licenses: Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Real Estate Broker; Life, Health, Property, and Casualty Insurance Producer. I hold these American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) professional designations: Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV); Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF); Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). I hold these professional memberships: AICPA & its Forensic and Valuation Services Section; California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) and its Business Valuation Forensic Services Section; Family Law Forensic Services Section; Economic Damages Forensic Services Section; Fraud Forensic Services Section. Prior to founding Keith Bales CPA, I worked 17 yrs as a Valuation Analyst; 2 yrs as a Senior Consultant; 12 yrs as a Controller and Vice President, Finance & Administration. I earned these college degrees: BS BA-Accounting CSUF; MBA CSUS. I am a native of Sacramento.
