Kelir Books produces bilingual Tamil-English resources that showcase the diverse Tamil diaspora worldwide and introduce readers to Tamil language and culture, one of the world’s oldest languages. Based in Oakmont, PA, our publishing house is led by Tamil immigrant mothers and aunts dedicated to integrating our heritage language and culture into our children’s lives while fostering cultural exchange with others. Our debut bilingual multicultural children’s books,*Dum Dum Dum Bogi* and *Ulu Ulu Ulu Pongal*, are the first two in a four-book series celebrating the four days of the Pongal festival, a Tamil harvest celebration. Each of our books is a 4-in-1 experience: featuring a story in Tamil script with English transliteration, a Tamil audiobook, and the same story in English. We invite everyone, regardless of cultural or language background, to explore all four versions. You don’t need to have Tamil heritage to be part of our community.
