Kellie Ashley Homes

Kellie Ashley is a North Carolina Native and moved to Johnson County in 1990. During the first 18 years in Johnston County Kellie raised her son, who is also involved in local Real Estate. After working behind a desk for 30 years, I was ready for hands on work. After several Flip projects with my son, real estate and renovating distressed properties became my passion. Watching a once neglected house become a home again is very rewarding. The neighborhood values increase, local workers have jobs and most important, a family finds a new home. With more than a dozen completed renovations under my belt, new construction is on the horizon. I am no stranger to hard work. As a teenager in Fairmont NC, my summer job was working in the tobacco fields and waiting tables at South of the Border. After high school, I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Housing & Management and Wake Tech with an Associate Degree in Industrial Engineering. I later completed a Masters of Trust & Investment Management from Campbell University. In 2016 I was awarded a NC General Contractors License and in 2020 became a NC Onsite Wastewater Contractor. Early in my career I worked in commercial real estate and property management. For 16 years, I worked for Wachovia Security and Merrill Lynch Wealth Management as a Senior Registered Associate. During that time, I worked with affluent clients to management their assets and investments. During my early years as a real estate agent, with REMAX Southland Realty, I had the opportunity to learn about many aspects of real estate. By October 2017, it was time for the next hurdle and Kellie Ashley Homes became my new firm. I continue to work with Buyers, Sellers, investors, developers, new construction and commercial raw land.
