The Firm was founded by Patrick J. Kennedy, Jr, over thirty years ago to provide corporate, securities, regulatory and transactional counsel to public and private companies. Since inception, the Firm has concentrated on the financial services industry with a particular focus on community banks and their shareholders, directors and officers. The Firm represents other businesses and nonprofits, including lenders and borrowers in a broad range of financing transactions including tax credit programs such as the New Markets Tax Credit program and other innovative structures and sources of financing.
