We as “Kermanmotor” company started out in Bam special economic zone- Arge Jadid- in 1995. KMC started its activities by importing various models of Daewoo vehicles. After enthusiastic welcoming of customers it was decided to manufacture Daewoo vehicles in Arge Jadid. Our primary goal was to absorb foreign investment and join the vehicle manufactures ranks. After the successful experiment of Daewoo “Cielo” production Line in 1996, KMC fallowed through with Daewoo “Matiz”. In 2007 after the start of the sanctions, KMC strategy was to keep the production line’s operative therefore KMC and Lifan production venture was born. It is one of first Iranian–Chinese ventures. In 2008 “Lifan 520” was produced followed by “Lifan 520i”. KMC market share increased due to offering “Lifan 620”to the market and after that “lifan620 talent”. KMC produced “lifan X60” which is considered as one of the best-selling SUV at that time. In order to account for various request KMC signed a contract with one of China’s biggest vehicle manufacturers and a reliable brand named “JAC”. The result was the production of Tojoy, J5 MT and J5 AT.In the last months of 2014, “JAC S5” was introduced to the market. Also in 2015 “Lifan X50” was produced with CVT and manual gear. In 2017, KMC started a new venture with Hyundai as Importing and producing Hyundai vehicles. Hyundai Elantra, Azura, Tuscon and Santa Fe where imported and Hyundai i10 and i20 were manufactured in that year. From 2018 Hyundai Elantra was also produced in Bam. Until 2020, KMC hadn’t veered in the pickup market. KMC T8 was introduced to consumers market with favorable reception. KMC T8 is specially designed to be used both in city and off-road capacity. KMC K7 is Kerman motors Luxury SUV which entered the market in 2021. For 2021, offering JAC S5 II with TGDI motor is also concluded. During all this time we have stood solid, we have been pushed back we have been brought to our knees but never have we been defeated. To be continued
