Ketamine Saved Me

Ketamine Saved Me is run by a Ketamine for depression patient sharing her journey to recovery through the use of medical Ketamine treatment. Ketamine Saved Me's mission is threefold: 1) Create a resource for Ketamine patients to find information, ask questions, and share experiences. 2) Advocate for the medical use of Ketamine in treating depression, other mental illnesses, and any physical ailments in which it has been found to help. 3) Help fellow Ketamine patients by offering support, guidance, and a person to relate to. When I first started Ketamine treatment for my treatment resistant depression, there were minimal, if any, resources similar to that in which I hope to provide. It is vital, in my opinion, that these types of resources start becoming more available and accessible. Often times Ketamine patients will have questions that arise before and during their recovery that only another Ketamine patient could answer. Additionally, Ketamine treatment tends to alter the way one thinks and change the way he/she sees the world (both positive changes); these changes can feel overwhelming so having someone to relate to can make all the difference. Furthermore, I hope to get people talking and spread the word about the efficacy of Ketamine is various illnesses with the hopes that is will become less controversial and more accessible to those in need of this treatment. I write to help fellow patients, to advocate, and to provide a useful resource for patients to find support and guidance when they need it most.
