Nguyen Thanh Tung is a singer, songwriter and actor from Vietnam. Born and raised in Thai Binh, Thai Binh province, his family soon discovered his singing ability when he was 2 years old. His 2012 and 2013 singles,"Yesterday's Rain" and "Yesterday's Baby" marked the beginning of his career, although he admitted he composed the melody himself. Based on inspiration from the beat (or background music) he picked up online after being charged with music. The next popular singles,"Someone Will Come" and "We Do not belong together", were also suspected of plagiarism. By 2017, he has received more goodwill from the online community after releasing two singles,"Flying Away" and "This Place Has You". Son Tung also released the M-TP M-TP compilation album that same year and the autobiography Touching the Dream.
