Kevin Still Consulting has been trading since 2002. Since 2014, this has involved considerable regulatory compliance work when the FCA took over from the OFT in the supervision of consumer credit firms, including those operating in the credit management, debt management, debt collection, debt purchasing and BPO sectors. Current focus is around the FCA Consumer Duty (PS22/9), the cost-of-living crisis and the wider vulnerability and inclusive design agenda (e.g. ISO 22458). Kevin Still is a member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management and has been in the Credit 500 for 3 years as a director of the Debt Managers Standards Association (DEMSA). He is a NED for the Vulnerability Registration Service (VRS). Areas of focus:* Corporate governance & strategic development (strong M&A background)* Consumer Duty (PS22/9) implementation planning * ESG and Social Value * Governance, risk & compliance (GRC)* Inclusive Service Design, including embedding vulnerability guidance * The role of disruptive technologies (e.g. AI/ML, Open Banking, Data Analytics)* Operational resilience, including cyber-security/resilience * Regulatory compliance, including SM & CR * Regulatory coaching & training * Quality management frameworks * Risk management frameworks * Compliance monitoring programmes * Training & competence schemes * Data protection policy & procedures * TCF (around PRIN 12) & better customer engagement * Digital engagement * Embedding vulnerability and financial crime policies COVID-19 recovery schemes, including hybrid working and Workforce Management (WFM), have now been overtaken by the cost-of-living crisis and the next round of regulatory change, including UK GDPR reform. ESG and Social Value have really come to the fore and firms working in supply chains serving public services need to have firmly embraced this in meeting government standards. I have successfully supported a number of government procurement processes between 2019 and 2022.
