Key To Change
The Key to Change is a Washington State 501c3 nonprofit organization that ignites positive change around the world through music and education. Founded and directed by violinist and educator Dr. Quinton Morris, the Key to Change provides violin lessons in South King County for middle and high school students, who are of color, do not have access to a private lesson instructor and are from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Students who live in Auburn, Federal Way, Kent, Maple Valley, Renton and Tukwila are served and encouraged to apply. Key to Change violin students receive the following benefits:* Take private or group violin lessons * Participate in master classes taught by guest artists * Receive weekly ensemble coaching * Learn various styles of music * Perform in quarterly recitals * Attend a yearly workshop catered toward preparing for college auditions and applications
