KEYZUNA is a business matching agency. It focuses specifically on helping incoming Japanese businesses to identify and connect with Israeli innovations and technology leaders. We also serve as the 'first base' in Israel for such Japanese businesses- The idea behind founding KEYZUNA was started after Mike Druttman visited Japan in 2017. He decided to use his rich experience in business writing, public relations, market investigations and business partnering for the benefit of Japanese business people seeking innovation in Israel. This activity only started in 2015 and it is still early days for them. Mike joined the Israel-Japan Chamber of Commerce and researched the process by which Japanese companies find Israeli partners. He identified a significant gap. There is good and comprehensive support for Israeli companies seeking market entry into Japan. Numerous Israeli businesses with Japanese speakers will help. However Japanese companies who visit Israel for the first time must largely manage on their own. The larger Japanese companies will set up 'Innovation Labs' in Israel - groups of people in Israel who search and scout for talent to serve their Japanese client. Smaller Japanese companies don't have this asset. With KEYZUNA, they will- Mike Druttman founded KEYZUNA in 2019 and has a Japanese associate. Born in the UK and living in Israel for over 40 years, Mike has worked closely with a wide range of Israeli businesses – Software, Telecomm, Medical Devices, Security, Agriculture, Traditional Industries, Hospitality and more- Mike Druttman is also an experienced English copywriter. He is helping Japanese companies that seek international business to improve their marketing communications tools in English (such as websites, brochures, emails and more).
