KGC runs fully-managed operations with its own employees, not labour contracts. Leading companies like Mercedes-Benz, Tata Motors, Honeywell, Jeep, and Exide trust KGC for efficient, agile, and cost-effective logistics operations, without the need for investment in manpower and technology. KGC lead the first ‘Direct Supply to Line’ (DSL) project for a leading automobile company in India and also pioneered the concept of ‘Plant to Port’ for an auto-component manufacturer. For better control and reliability, KGC depends on its self-owned warehouses measuring a total of sq.ft spread across various locations in western India. Even the fleet of heavy and medium sized trucks are self-owned and so is the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) that is leased. KGC began its journey as a trucking company in 1965 catering to transportation requirements of traders and manufacturers like Tata Engineering and Locomotive Co. Ltd (now Tata Motors). Today, KGC employs more than 450 employees (100% on-roll) and services a wide range of customers across industries.
