Lakpa, a seasoned mountaineer with a remarkable track record, has dedicated his life to climbing since his teenage years. With the distinction of being the first Nepali to conquer the seven summits, as well as having successfully summited Mount Everest on 17 occasions, Lakpa aspires to fulfill his dream of assisting others in experiencing the awe-inspiring beauty of the Himalayas and achieving their mountaineering goals. In 2022, he founded Khangri Experience, a venture aimed at turning this vision into reality. Khangri Experience aspires to provide unparalleled adventure tourism services in Nepal and Tibet, focusing on Himalayan expeditions and trekking. With a firm commitment to safety and excellence, our company strives to deliver the utmost quality by ensuring a low guide-to-climber ratio. Each climbing team is accompanied by an experienced Sherpa guide, maintaining a 1:1 ratio, to ensure personalized attention and enhance safety measures. Drawing upon Lakpa's previous role as a Sirdar, where he shouldered significant responsibilities (such as trip coordination, Sherpa guide recruitment, logistical planning, and accommodation arrangements) Khangri Experience benefits from his extensive network of industry connections.
