Khawat

Khawat is a nonprofit organization led by young professionals and students from diverse migrant and refugee backgrounds across Aotearoa. Rooted in Indigenous and collective cultures, we foster a strong sense of community by bringing people together as a whānau. Through events like fashion shows and galentine's gatherings, we create inclusive spaces where young women feel empowered and supported. Our collaborative approach ensures that all voices are heard, decisions are made collectively, and our shared vision uplifts and strengthens the next generation.
