Kid Katana Records is a record label dedicated to video game music founded by Tarafa Sahloul and Rémy Dahi, music industry veterans with over a decade of experience and passion about music, movies, video games and pop culture. Since its foundation in 2019, Kid Katana has worked with key publishers and IP owners such as SEGA, Take-Two, Quantic Dream, Don’t Nod, SNK, Dotemu, Hasbro, Nickelodeon, on more than 10 games such as Streets of Rage 4, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, or Jusant. It aims at bridging the gap between gaming and mainstream music and putting music creators closer to fans. For game publishers and studios, Kid Katana is meant to be a one-stop shop for music, taking care of every aspect of the process- music supervision and executive production to match the studio’s ambition - specific expertise on spotlight tracks, securing musical guests from the music world to reach new audiences - digital and physical release of the OST on a global level with a worldwide network of partners - specific gaming retail expertise on both digital (Steam, GoG, Bandcamp) and physical (VGM retail network)- music rights services including legal setup and royalty management over time for the soundtrack sales Mutant Ninja is Kid Katana's mother company. It operates as an independent hip-hop and electro record label and music services company.
