Kid-Start has provided quality care for children in the Greater Lawrence area since 1986. We are home to two Child Care agencies: Family Child Care & Child Care Center. Family Child Care is care given in a private, state-licensed home to a small group of children. In a smaller setting, the educator is attentive to every child and their needs to enhance early learning. Care is offered to children ranging in age from 8 weeks to 13 years old. The Child Care Center is a state-licensed facility that provides a loving, nurturing environment and a well-balanced curriculum to meet the needs of all children. Our program provides care for children ages two months through fifth grade. We have created a “home away from home” atmosphere, where children are safe, happy, and comfortable in their surroundings. Our purpose at Kid-Start is to inspire, develop, and guide children and families through transitions between their home life and school. To provide you and your child(ren) with excellent care and support – our staff members are all carefully screened by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).
