Kidint

Kidint is a Chilean-Japanese company settled on 2015. It received a first round of seed capital from a serial technology entrepreneur from Japan. It offers a subscription service sustained on three pillars: edutainment, parent-child relation and reading skills. It features a mobile app available on iPhone, iPad, Android tablets and Android phones connected to a reporting dashboard for parents on our website. In Kidint, kids can enjoy reading and listening to nice stories that include small intellectual challenges based on the Multiple Intelligence theory of education. At the end of each book, parents sporadically receive real-time notifications of what their child is reading, with a few suggestions to enjoy when they have time to spend together. Besides, at the end of every story we suggest parents some activities to be performed with their children in their leisure time, sometimes in connection with the story and sometimes in a more general fashion. We realize today’s world is full of busy parents and we want to help them to stay more connected with their children. Learning how to read and developing basic intellectual skills are extremely important during the very first years of a child. The widespread use of smartphones and tablets by small children all over the world enables us to make Kidint a fast-growing edutainment platform that promotes pre-school education in Latin America and the world. For that, we count on our very skilled multi-national team of engineers, pedagogists, psychologists, musicians and designers. Technology-wise our platform has been developed with very modern Web, database, data-processing and mobile technologies so it has been designed to scale.
