We are an award-winning charity dedicated to making museums open and welcoming to all children, young people and families. We support and champion family friendly organisations through wide-ranging initiatives, including: Kids in Museums Manifesto - We invite heritage organisations to sign up to our Manifesto, which sets out simple guidelines for making museums easy to reach for all ages. Family Friendly Museum Award - Our annual award celebrates museums, galleries and heritage attractions that go the extra mile to provide an excellent family friendly experience. Takeover Day - Takeover Day is when heritage sites invite young people in to take over jobs normally done by adults for the day. Training and Consultancy - Book onto one of our training webinars for museum professionals or commission bespoke training or a Family Friendly Museum Audit for your site. Family Café Standard - Apply for accreditation with our new benchmark that recognises cafés at museums and cultural institutions that are great for families.
