Kids Upstate

Kids Upstate operates 18 school-based afterschool and summer Kids Clubs in Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties. Clubs serve 1800 + children daily in grades 1-5 until 6:00 pm throughout the school year and in full day 7 week summer camps. Our Clubs offer a Comprehensive Afterschool Program as recommended by the US Department of Education and described by the American Institute of Research. The entire program is literacy-based from the teaching of life skills and staff-led interest-building experiences to teacher-led extended learning and homework completion. We fill the afterschool and summer hours with learning and fun. The weekly program schedule is comprised of 10% Leadership, 40% Education 10% Arts and 40% Fitness including healthy snacks and meals.
