Overview The core of the company’s business is gold and diamond mining and has been active in various concession areas in West Africa. Since 2008, the company moved interest to southern Africa and Central Africa and since has agreed and acquired several projects and looking further for opportunities in the sub-continent. Properties in the pipeline are in the legendary Kimberley region in South Africa, known for its proven high quality gem diamonds. In 2010 Progressive acquisitions of rich deposits in Southern Africa for Diamonds with an operational plant in place on major kimberlitic pipes with a proven deposit of millions of carats. With the current acquisitions, KIG Mining is foreseeing a highly lucrative long term operation in historically proven mineral rich areas.
