Kigoda Consulting is an independent consultancy that offers specialist political risk and responsible investment services. While the majority of Kigoda’s work is focussed on sub-Saharan Africa, it also works and collaborates on projects across other emerging and frontier regions. Kigoda’s clients range from international investors to NGOs, activist asset managers to foundations, and renewable energy companies to global expert networks. Political risk and due diligence Kigoda’s political risk services include weekly research notes, tailored reports, scenario analysis and conference calls. This work allows clients to have a better understanding of the political and regulatory environments of countries they operate in to reduce risk and maximise opportunities. We also undertake, and provide support for companies undertaking, third-party integrity due diligence and investigations for, among others, IPOs, M&A deals, joint ventures, acquisitions or corporate governance reviews. Sustainable and responsible investing Kigoda provides a range of services relating to sustainable and responsible investing. These include ESG research and analysis; responsible investment policy development and implementation; and ESG due diligence.
