Kiklo

Founded in 2020 in Thessaloniki, KIKLO aims to transfer knowledge and technology developed by its founders at AUTH for the benefit of society and the economy. Although new, KIKLO brings in the broad experience of its founders, who are highly experienced professors/researchers (4 MSc, 3 PhDs, 1 PhD candidate) that during the last 10 years have participated in more than 95 funded research projects, in the fields of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Laser scanning, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Furthermore, KIKLO aspires to develop and bring to market Novel and Innovative technologies and products in Close-range, Aerial and Satellite imagery analysis, Location-based services, and Geospatial analysis. KIKLO’s main asset is its people. Experienced and early-stage researchers from various backgrounds and expertise (ie. Remote Sensing, Surveying, GIS, GPS, Computer Science, Forestry, Urban engineering, Mechanical engineering, Social Sciences, and Finances) cover a wide range of fields, which is necessary to tackle complex, cross-disciplinary challenges effectively.
