KILELE Health Association is non-profit membership organization, registered in Kenya under the Societies Act (CAP.108). Our Vision is a world where people living with chronic health conditions, including cancer and other NCDs have equal opportunities for attainment of optimal health in the advancement of a life of purpose. Our Program Areas of Focus include Advocacy for advancement of Quality of Life, Research to broaden understanding of Survivorship and inform, support and catalyze Policy Decisions, Behaviour Change Communications through community engagement and education for reduction of stigma, and to address common risk factors associated with most chronic conditions including tobacco use, physical inactivity, the harmful use of alcohol, unhealthy diets and exposure to harmful environmental factors and the Exchange of best practice for strengthened health systems. Our head office is in Nairobi - Kenya, with programs in urban informal settlements, and rural settings around the Mt. Kenya Arid and Semi-Arid Regions. Through our work, we are addressing the FOUR parameters commonly used to define quality of life in chronic conditions, ensuring that our members, as well as the general public understand the need, and aspire to, A Life Beyond Limits.
