KDI IN THE SIMPLEST TERMS- KDI is a leading research and advocacy nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing democratic governance- We strive to drive systematic policy and procedural transformations, creating an enabling environment for citizen-led development- We utilize a multifaceted approach, integrating rigorous research, evidence-based policy advocacy, innovative media strategies, and technological solutions to empower citizens, drive public policy reforms, and promote active participation in democratic processes- Since our establishment in March 2014, KDI has emerged as a pivotal force in promoting peaceful elections, leading electoral justice reforms, and enhancing citizen engagement across West Africa, notably in Nigeria- We facilitate constructive discourse between government stakeholders and citizens through cutting-edge technology platforms and interactive forums- Our goal is to build informed and active citizens by providing insightful data on issues that directly and/or indirectly impact the citizen.
