Having concentrated on Petrochemical to Pharmaceutical (P2P) chain development, Kimya Group was established to identify, evaluate and invest in the potential petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical projects. Building synergy among the subsidiaries via Know-How transfer and active collaboration is another role, through which Kimya Group is contributing to sustainable value creation. Kimyagaran Emrooz, Parand Darou and APIRA are considered as Kimya Group’s subsidiaries in chemical and pharmaceutical sector. Established in 1995, Kimyagaran Emrooz among other companies, has become one of the biggest producers of APIs and strategic chemical products in Iran. Parand Darou, meanwhile, as the main subsidiary of Kimyagaran Emrooz is involved in production of Narcotic drugs with the vision of value chain development up to semi-finished & finished products. The forward integration strategy has also led another pharmaceutical company named “APIRA” to be acquired by Kimya Group. Petronad Asia, Damoon Palayesh Giti and Petro Kimya Emrooz, on the other side, have shaped Kimya Group’s strategic petrochemical identifying face. Petronad Asia hit the ground running as a strategic park in Mahshahr, south of Iran, producing Glycerin (Pharma grade) and Ethylene Glycols which have come into operation recently. Ethoxylation, Ethanol amines, MDEA, Methyl amines, Sulfunation and Choline chloride units will be kicking off in the near future. Damoon Palayesh Giti is a leading company for execution of a driving project in petrochemical sector producing Benzene & Toluene from DPG. By establishment of Petro Kimya Emrooz, Kimya Group is intended to produce Phenol & Acetone and other high value derivatives in downstream chain which are going to feed pharmaceutical and petrochemical units.
