Kingdom Towers
The area now known as Liverpool was first inhabited by the Cabrogal Aboriginal people. Then in 1810 Governor Lachlan Macquarie founded the town on the fertile land on the banks of the Georges River. It was the first free planned settlement in Australia. Liverpool went on to become one of the most important farming, wine growing and market gardening areas of the greater Sydney basin, and to this day offers a choice of bustling city convenience or laid-back country lifestyle – and it's all just 25 kilometers from the Sydney GPO.
