Essentially, Kingsdown Nurseries provide solutions for landscape projects. It all began in the heart of the Marlborough Downs, those ancient and rolling chalky uplands where farmers and sheep traders have made a living for ages of time. This is the landscape that shaped the childhood of founder David Whiteside, and where he returned after the Second World War to grow his family business. Over half a century later and three generations on, the same pioneering spirit drives us forward to deliver visionary solutions for high-end Landscape Construction projects. The accumulation of knowledge in the company and the focused attention to providing plants and trees for ‘instant gardens’ allows us to support the professional in a way that is not always easy to find. The solutions however are not limited to providing the correct plants.
