Founded in 2018 by Eki Ogunbor, KISARA is a Nigerian fashion brand that specializes in handcrafted leather pieces with a stylish twist. The brand became popular after it's runway debut at Lagos Fashion Week in 2018 and it's nature-inspired designs using wicker as a key material to add a stylish edge to its designs. The ideal KISARA woman loves colour and texture and this is whom the brand caters to, with colourful, stylish pieces that are heavily influenced by the designer's background in fashion design and fashion writing. KISARA takes pride in it's contribution to the African fashion industry, creating jobs for local artisans in Nigeria and using locally sourced materials. The KISARA brand believes in supporting its local artisans and contributing to the African economy to build the Africa of the future.
