Kittykitz

Kittykitz was initiated in 2005 when Kitty Manu, the owner and the brain behind it, decided to be part of the game after studying fashion design in La Salle and working as an assistant designer. At the time, the business of Distro(s)(short for Distribution Store, which mostly sells limited edition of casual clothes produced by small companies) was booming. It didn’t take long before Kitty Manu decided to produce a line of casual tees, Vely Close Flend, which she did as a side project while working as a designer in one of the highly acknowledged fashion consultant companies in Bali. This marks Vely Close Flend as the first product of Kittykitz. While still managing the production section, in 2007, Kittykitz also decided to expand the brand into making a line of accessories. Not very much different from the way Vely Close Flend grew, the marketing of Kittykitz Accessories worked under the radar but managed to grab the attention of many clients. Soon after, Kittykitz Accessories acted as the accessories supplier for a few brands. It started out at that point and the rest was just history. With Kitty Manu’s limitless creativity and the network she built over the years, Kittykitz has grown into a fairyland and a playground. It is the land where a few brands grow; Kittykitz, Kittykitz Accessories, Kitz for Kids, Sloper, and of course, Vely Close Flend. It is the land where creativity is nourished, nurtured, and transformed into a whole lot services; consultancy in branding, design, and/or graphic; a vast array in production aspects, starting from “big” things such as making fabric, batik/tenun, uniforms, bags, shoes, or many kinds of merchandise, until taking care of the details such as beading and embroidery. All services in Kittykitz are planned and done very carefully to ensure all the final products are flawless. Like being in fairyland, all you need to do is just believe.
