Who we are: Kizingo is a female-owned business started by two nutrition-expert moms in 2016. Our vision: Healthy mealtime balance for everyone. Our Mission: To makes mealtimes a little happier and a little healthier. What we do: Kizingo creates innovative mealtime solutions for families. Using the latest in nutrition science research to inform design, Kizingo's products promote healthy eating habits for both kids and their parents! Kizingo's flagship product is the Kizingo curved toddler spoon, and innovative toddler spoon that is specifically designed to support self-feeding. Kids who can feed themselves are less likely to become picky eaters or to overeat at mealtime. Traditional utensils — even kid-sized ones — are a poor match for little hands, whose fine-motor skills are still developing. Kizingo products are uniquely curved to easily fit into toddler's hands; working with the way they hold and use utensils. Adding to their feeding line, Kizingo recently launched their Nudge plates and bowls, which are specifically designed to encourage kids to practice tasting new foods; a skill that is critical for developing life-long healthy habits.
