KJF Cost Studio was created to provide a higher level of accuracy in cost estimating and evaluation for owners, designers, and contractors. We bring 25 years of real-world experience to our estimating practice. Where others work from “ballpark” historical data to establish initial rough costs, we ask the “what if” questions from the beginning. We identify project-specific design elements that have a critical impact on a project budget and provide cost optimizing and estimating as one unified service. We bring ideas for how to reduce costs, be more productive, and optimize materials and details for better value. Cost Studio deliverables provide owners, designers and builders with the early knowledge of cost implications, so that valuable design time isn’t wasted on items outside budget.
