Knowlead Consulting and Training (Knowlead) previously traded as Knowledge Leadership Associates. Knowlead is committed to the improvement of Innovation Knowledge and Information Management practices in all sectors of the economy. We do this through the provision of strategy facilitation, research and implementation services and needs-based training. Our goal is to create a significant knowledge advantage for our clients and assist them to develop a knowledgeable and innovative workforce and sophisticated knowledge leadership. Knowlead consists of a core team of associates with distinctive expertise in various disciplines in the broad field of innovation, knowledge and information management (IKIM) and organisational learning. This team is expanded where necessary by inviting persons and associate organisations with appropriate skills to participate in projects where unique competencies are required. Although our Head Quarters is in Cape Town, South Africa we work wherever required. We have completed projects all over Africa as well as in the United Kingdom and Europe and we maintain a close association with our colleagues at Information Automation Limited in the United Kingdom. Dr Ben Fouché and Dr Gretchen Smith are the partners and directors of Knowlead. Ben and Gretchen have extensive managerial and consulting experience in innovation, knowledge and information infrastructure development and knowledge management implementation projects in both the private and public sector. They have further developed Knowledge and Information Management programmes at postgraduate level at various universities in South Africa.
