Knowledge Clinic Limited provides strategic consulting and marketing services in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and marine tourism sectors. Through our Best Patient services, we have created an proprietary educational platform for people diagnosed with chronic conditions to help them manage their health better over time. We employ multiple learning environments and techniques to suit personal preferences and modify behaviours, including secure web-based interactive training and mobile technologies. Our goals are improve adherence to prescribed treatment and to reduce complications of progressive disease. Best Patient is recognized as a high potential start-up by Enterprise Ireland. We are working with Galway Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT Castlebar) under an Innovation voucher to develop secure IT infrastructure. We have secured an Enterprise Ireland feasibility grant and expect to launch a pilot programme towards the end of 2012. Knowledge Clinic also received support from Southwest Mayo Development Company and was recognized as a regional finalist in the Intertrade Ireland Seedcorn Competition.
