Knowledge For Business

Knowledge for Business (K4B) is a network of small, specialised management consultancies that provide integrated consultancy services to small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The K4B team works together with teams and stakeholders to develop solutions that deliver value to SMEs. The process is based on 3 interconnected phases: 1. Sensemaking: trouble-shooting the current problematic situation that the organization aspires to change (challenges and/or opportunities) using methods and tools to address context and complexity in these situations and to guide decision-making (e.g. business intelligence, business analytics & competitive intelligence). Development: design and delivery of effective business solutions (including business processes & systems) that clearly delivers value to organizations measured against a clear set of key performance indicators (KPI). Innovation: exploring future opportunities for growth using state of the art models, tools and technologies (e.g. pattern analysis, Social Network Analysis, Enterprise 2.0 Architecture). These phases have been successfully implemented in various types of organization since 1997; taking into account the unique context of each organization and continually refining the methods and tools used, supported by state of the art IT.
