We are a Hong Kong-based counselling, coaching, and wellbeing private practice that aims to provide high quality, easy and accessible mental healthcare to individuals and couples in a safe, empowering space. Our mission is to serve teens (16+) and adults seeking to navigate life transitions, relationship problems, self esteem challenges, work/school-related difficulties and reducing anxiety and depression to improve quality of life. We can also help those who don't feel heard breakdown the cause of their distress, find self-acceptance, foster meaningful relationships, and identify their strengths to realign back with their core values. With an arsenal of corporate experience across various multinational firms, we are also passionate in offering services in corporate wellbeing, leadership development, career coaching, burnout prevention and other customizable programs to suit workplace needs. Koa Counselling & Wellbeing is born out of the founder's personal mental health journey and a calling to serve a high demand of people seeking to overcome adversity, develop mental resilience and to live a more fulfilled and balanced life. This small company is also an extension of 16+ years of Global business & life experiences of learning, growing, coaching and leading hi-performing teams to master their time, mind and sleep. Equipped with International qualifications and accredited psychotherapy training, our integrated and bespoke approach draws from concepts in Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Gottman Method for Couples, Yoga and Meditation. We are know for our non-judgemental, patient, yet straightforward style balanced with empathy and compassion, and offer therapy and coaching in English, Cantonese or Mandarin.
