Kodanska

Marie Graff is the owner and creative soul behind Kodanska. Kodanska, translating to ’Copenhagen Street’ from Czech to Danish and is the name of the street in the heart of Prague where Marie lived with her family for four years. Inspired by the life in Prague and her roots back in Denmark, she chose the name ’Kodanska’ as a good way to tell her personal story, portray family values and ideas behind every design collection. Every single design has its own personal story. Marie finds inspiration in the history behind the high quality of handmade materials in Czech Republic, and her love for the colourful city of Prague combined with the simplistic Nordic design style. Kodanskas products has a focus on shapes, colours, the quality of the process of handmade work, and the aesthetics of the final result.
