The Royal Police Malaysia Cooperative through KOP Mantap Berhad has also been in the education sector since 1996. Now in its 20th anniversary, Kolej Unikop, is being recognized as among the first affiliate college for Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). Located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, in Taman Koperasi Polis Fasa 2, Batu Caves, Kolej Unikop has since produced more than graduates of various studies. With its strong academic audit approval, Kolej Unikop offers various programmes from Special Skills Certificate, Pre- Diploma and Diploma. Kolej Unikop also has several collaborations with Open University Malaysia (OUM), IUKL University and Malaysia University of Science & Technology (MUST) which consists of twinning programmes, franchise and also academic collaborations. The strong relationship with The Royal Malaysia Police Force is evident with Homegrown programmes that are directly link to the police force and enforcement agencies. Diploma Policing & Investigation is among the most popular programme that has high potential and opportunity for career advancement in the enforcement agencies. The Unikop Training Centre is also a division with its sole objective to increase and improve the public and also police personnels skills and ability in various sectors. Several online training and also classroom training has been held to various government agencies and also private sectors. All of these training are fully recognized by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) and also Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF). All of Kolej Unikop programmes are also funded by various agencies such as PTPTN, PTPK and for members of the Royal Police Malaysia Cooperative, a special education loan has been established. This education loan with only a 3.8% interest, is to ensure that members and their immediate families will benefits from the various education programmes that are offered by Kolej Unikop.
