AMI (আমি), a Bengali word which translates to “I”, is an ode to the personal connections we make across boundaries and borders. Aside from its home ground at KCC, this year's festival unfolds across some of Kolkata's well-known locations, each with its own story and character – Victoria Memorial Hall, the Indian Museum, GD Birla Sabhaghar, Techno India University, and more! The festival features exhibitions on visual arts, traditional crafts, music, and photography, alongside engaging talks, panel discussions, and workshops. From folk melodies and rock performances to dance, theatre, and special inclusive events, AMI 2024 offers something for everyone. Whether you're an art lover or simply curious, join us in celebrating creativity! The Kolkata Centre for Creativity (KCC) is a multidisciplinary interactive art centre based in Kolkata. As a not-for-profit initiative by the Emami group it promotes research & experimentation while championing inclusivity & accessibility at the intersection of arts & society. KCC advocates a multidisciplinary approach in the pursuit of creative & cultural practices. Through well-curated programmes, it aims to cultivate an empathetic, optimistic, and informed community.
