Supported by a culture of collaboration, our researchers are investigating some of the biggest health challenges of our time from heart and kidney disease to musculoskeletal conditions, chronic pain and neurodegenerative disorders. Our researchers are in a strong position, backed by the resources and expertise of our joint venture partners, the University of Sydney and the Northern Sydney Local Health District. Located alongside Royal North Shore Hospital, our teams incorporate scientific breakthroughs into clinical practice, directly improving patient care and the health of our community. This research strength places the Kolling in a distinguished position, while enhancing its reputation as a centre for world leading research. As the longest-running research organisation in NSW, the Kolling has been at the forefront of research for 100 years.
