Association for promotion of education KONEDU GLOBAL is civic association that contributes in creating better conditions for education and improved access to various educational resources for all stakeholders. The organization is guided by the following principles and values: participation, equal opportunities, tolerance, partnership and transparency and responsibility. Vision World of equal and active citizens who use access to various educational resources for personal development, improvement of the quality of life and well-being of the community. Mission Access to various educational resources encourages and facilitates the active involvement of all people in the modern world. Long term goals -available educational resources for all-modern, technologically advanced and inclusive education-universal design for all; and -innovative organization with credibility and ability for partnerships. PROGRAMS Educational software Selection of appropriate educational application that will be incorporate into the curriculum is a process that requires strict compliance with various conditions. Localization and adaptation of the existing educational applications is time consuming and it costs almost as much as the development of new application. We in KonEdu GLOBAL are committed to developing educational software that will correspond to the objectives of the curriculum and is developed in the languages of the instruction in Macedonia. Universal design Designing any product involves the consideration of many factors, including aesthetics, design, engineering options, environmental issues and cost. Most often, designers focus on the average user. Unlike the standard design, universal design is the design of products and environments to be usable by all people, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation or specialized design and therefore KonEdu GLOBAL in all its activities uses and promotes universal design. Prevention of bullying Raising awareness and prevention of bullying is part of KonEdu GLOBAL Programs. There are two aspects of this activities; work with teachers and parents and activities with students as main actors. The goal is to build safe environment and positive climate in schools that reinforce social interactions and inclusiveness. Educational robots Educational robots have become a popular educational tool in primary and secondary education, as well as in numerous youth summer camps because of raising interest in programming, artificial intelligence and robotics among students. We in KonEdu GLOBAL develop various learning activities and training modules that include educational robots. PROJECTS Project for Bullying Prevention Project for prevention of bullying “The End of Bullying Starts with You”, implemented by Association for Promotion of education KonEdu Global from Skopje, and funded in part through a U.S. Embassy grant, officially started in September 2016. Two primary and two secondary schools from Skopje and one primary and one secondary school from Tetovo are included in project activities. Project activities are planned to be completed in June 2017. Project for Increased Media Literacy for Effective Social Transformation Starting from November 2016, Association for Promotion of education KonEdu Global from Skopje will implement Project for Increased Media Literacy realized by Metamorphosis Foundation with financial assistance from the British Embassy in Skopje.
