We specialized in the fabrication of precision polished aspheric optic, low and high volume, with excellent quality for very affordable prices. Kong Optics, Inc was founded by Dr. John Kong, formal founder and president of Precision Asphere, Inc (Fremont, California). With over 25 years of experience in the fabrication of precision and ultra-smooth aspheres (including free-form ones), Precision Asphere has served the need of performance critical systems in astronomy, aerospace & defense, and semiconductor equipment. E.g. optics deployed in Gemini Planet Imager (GPI), MARS2020, etc… At Kong Optics, we applied all innovative technologies and experience to low and high volume (few tens to ten thousand) manufacturing of commercial grade aspheres, serving worldwide customers in the US, Canada, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan,… Kong Optics is a California company, with manufacturing facility in Tianjin, China.
