KOS, Inc. was established in 2021 with a mission to build confidence through knowledge. Our aim is to provide students of all ages with opportunities to learn crucial skills that promote personal and community growth. Our educational workshops cater to children aged 5-11 years old, and they follow Cobb County's school closure schedule. Our programs' core comprises STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), carpentry, sewing, and music. Our staff and students embody the values of honesty, kindness, responsibility, accountability, and motivation, regardless of the discipline being taught. This fosters a degree of self-governance that allows for an optimal learning experience. We do not compete with the local school system; instead, we supplement their work. School closures occur for various reasons such as holidays, breaks, meetings, and unforeseen health emergencies, as we learned in 2020. However, this does not eliminate the need for children to have a safe and secure place to learn and grow.
