Kotaa

The Korean transportation association in America (KOTAA) is a membership association consisting principally of Korean and Korean-American transportation industry professionals, college and university professors, and graduate students teaching or studying transportation engineering and other transportation-related subjects. The membership is open to all transportation industry professionals, university professors, and graduate students who are interested in transportation engineering and other related subjects. The primary objective of KOTAA is to advance research in the transportation engineering field by providing fellowships to enable students to present scholarly papers at national meetings of transportation engineers. Additionally, the organization aims to promote and encourage student participation in KOTAA and Transportation Research Board (TRB) activities. KOTAA meets annually at the same time as the TRB annual meeting. KOTAA is one of the Affiliated Professional Societies (APS) of the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA).
