KR Group Started in the year 1969, as a small tea shop, run by Mr K.R. Balan at Coimbatore, the shops menu, for its freshness, unique recipe, aroma, taste and quality, started gaining popularity in Coimbatore and nearby areas. The increasing customer flow due to mouth publicity and the untiring efforts made by its crew, resulted in a slow and steady progress of this establishment, to grow as a bakery shop. Gradually bakeries were set up at different locations, which were also a big success. The success of these shops and the growing acceptance for its products, motivated the promoter to increase its product portfolio, to a complete range of baked products, confectioneries, beverages, desserts, fried items etc. to name a few. This further fueled our growth and in 1990's all these bakeries came together under one brand - K.R Bakes. At present K.R Bakes Pvt Ltd is one of the leading and reputed bakery and cafeteria chain in South India and have outlets at major towns in Tamilnadu and Kerala. The success of KR Bakes, gave confidence for the promoters to invest in myriad business verticals. KR’s Sree Narayana College, an arts and science College, run under the aegis of KR’s Sree Narayana Educational Trust was established at Valanchery, Malappuram, to impart high quality education for all. Batly - A unique brand of packed products like Baked Drops, Macaroons, Cakes, Cookies, Biscuits, Breads, Rusk's, Savories etc. manufactured and distributed by KR Bakes Pvt Ltd and are made available at all leading supermarkets and bakery outlets.
