Self employed highly experienced software developer having worked over 16 years as a consultant. I am a specialist in advanced object oriented development in primarily Smalltalk, Javascript, C# and Java and building advanced web applications. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience working with object databases and lately also some of the new highly scalable NoSQL databases like CouchDB and Riak. I am involved in several open source projects primarily in the Smalltalk arena and I regularly teach and hold presentations within my areas of expertise. My two main mottos are "The Right Tool For The Job" and "Keep It Simple" and I can often identify problems organizations are having with their software development given my long experience in many different projects and teams.
